Peter Berrill is a visiting researcher in the working group Land Use, Infrastructure and Transport. His current project, “Sustainable Urban Form For Integrated Climate Change Solutions” (SUFFICCS) focuses on identifying and quantifying opportunities to reduce energy demand and GHG emissions from integrated solutions applied to buildings and transport sectors in Europe.
Peter was awarded a PhD from the Yale School of Environment in 2021, with a dissertation focusing on pathways for decarbonizing the residential sector in the United States. His research has also included life cycle assessment of energy systems, and environmental footprinting using Environmentally Extended Input Output analysis. He is an active member of the Industrial Ecology community.
