Matthias Kalkuhl is head of the working group Economic Growth and Human Development. He is professor on Climate Change, Development and Economic Growth at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam. Additionally, he is co-lead of the PIK-MCC future lab "Public Economics and Climate Finance" (with Kai Lessmann).
His research focuses on carbon pricing, fiscal and tax policies as well as macroeconomic and distributional aspects of climate policy.
