Dr. Nolan Ritter

Nolan Ritter joined the Sustainable Resource Management and Global Change group at MCC in April of 2018 to work on research questions in the field of transport economics. In particular, he applies modern evaluation methods to estimate causal effects of transport policies. He also works in the field of energy economics, again with a focus on the empirical evaluation of policy measures, particularly building codes.

Dr. Ritter studied economics in Duisburg and was awarded a doctoral degree from Ruhr-University Bochum. He has published in international, peer-reviewed journals such as Energy Economics, Land Economics, and Transportation Research Part A.
