At the end of the World Climate Summit in Katowice, MCC Director Edenhofer appeals to governments to take action in view of rising emissions and to finally implement higher CO2 prices in order to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. Secretary General Brigitte Knopf stresses the importance of socially responsible implementation of climate protection and points out that there are already many international examples of this.
