MCC researcher nominated for IPCC expert meeting

More than 60 climate experts will meet mid-August to plan a special IPCC report concerning the 1.5°C target.

28.07.2016

The report is due until the end of 2018 and is supposed to summarize the current scientific knowledge on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C and on pathways to achieve such a climate target. In the Paris Agreement the member states of the United Nations Framework Convention invited the IPCC to provide this report. MCC group leader Dr. Sabine Fuss is one amongst six scientists from Germany who were nominated for the expert meeting.  Further information and the list of all participants are published online by IPCC.
