Dr. José Luis Vicente-Vicente

Dr. José Luis Vicente Vicente is a post-doctoral reseacher in the working group Sustainable Resource Management and Global Change. He is an environmental scientist focused on:

  • Negative emission technologies
  • Ecosystem services
  • Soil organic carbon sequestration in Mediterranean agroecosystems
  • Biogeochemical cycles and GHG emissions

Further research interests lie in the fields of food sovereignty and environmental impacts of food production in the framework of climate change.

He studied Environmental Sciences at the University of Salamanca (Spain). During his PhD Dr. José Luis Vicente Vicente has worked in Andalusia (Spain), Italy and Scotland assessing the effects of the agricultural management practices on CO2 emissions.
