MCC now partner of Green Growth Knowledge Platform

The Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) has now become a partner of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP). The GGKP is a global partnership of leading international organizations, research institutes and think tanks focused on identifying major knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice and addressing those gaps by promoting collaboration and coordinated research, using world-class knowledge management and communications tools to give practitioners and policymakers the analysis, guidance, information and data necessary to support a green economy transition. Its Steering Committee members are the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Bank.

“Given MCC’s proven excellence in researching options for sustainable economic growth, your organization will undoubtedly be a valuable partner and serve as a leading contributor to the GGKP's active green growth knowledge generation and sharing efforts,” GGKP Head Benjamin Simmons says. “We are delighted to have MCC join the GGKP as a Knowledge Partner and look forward to working closely with you in exploring these areas of common interest and concern.”
