 Nikola Milojevic-Dupont

Nikola Milojevic-Dupont is a PhD researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Creutzig at MCC in the MCC working group Land Use, Infrastructure and Transport, and at the Technische Universität Berlin. His research focuses on developing machine learning applications for climate change mitigation, with a particular focus on demand-side solutions in cities arising from buildings and transportation systems. Methodologically, he works with artificial neural networks and massive spatial data including remote sensing or voluntary geographical information.

Previously, he was a guest researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, where he wrote his master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Nico Bauer on the mitigation potential of bioenergy in Integrated and Life Cycle Assessment Models. He holds a MSc in environmental and energy economics from a consortium of universities in Paris led by AgroParisTech, with a major in Integrated Assessment Modelling led by CIRED. Before, he studied economics at the University of Paris La Sorbonne.
