Dr. Ulrike Kornek ist Senior Researcher. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der Umweltökonomie mit einem Schwerpunkt auf internationaler Klimaökonomie. Sie verwendet analytische und numerische Modelle, die die Interaktion von heterogenen Akteuren beschreiben. Ihre Forschung beinhaltet die Anwendung spieltheoretischer Modelle, um die Wirkung verschiedener Politikinstrumente und Institutionen auf die Vermeidung von Treibhausgasemissionen zu analysieren. Des Weiteren beschäftigt sie sich mit dem Design von optimaler Bepreisung von Treibhausgasemissionen in theoretischen sowie numerischen integrierten Bewertungsmodellen.
